My Story

My name is Shaahyna Ibrahim. I am a Registered Associate Nutritionist (ANutr) with a First Class Honours degree in Human Nutrition.

As a nutritionist, I love translating scientifically proven nutritional knowledge into simple diet tips to encourage individuals to build a healthy relationship with food.

I am from Maldives, and I started working at the age of 16 years. This early experience taught me invaluable lessons in patience, adaptability, and creativity. Over the years, I have gained invaluable skills in various settings.

My passion as a Nutritionist came in my late twenties, and I finally decided to specialise in Human Nutrition, focusing on gut health nutrition. Since then, I have made it my mission to help people optimise their nutrition and lifestyle for a healthier and happier life.

I absolutely love my work and feel so blessed to have been gifted with the natural talent and ability to educate people to “stay healthy and active”.

When I am not working, I love toning my body, keeping fit and healthy, enjoying the smell of baking, cooking delicious meals, spending quality time with the important people in my life, and creating quiet time for myself at home.

  • Fun Facts About Me

While studying nutrition at the University of Westminster, I had to create 'tailored food recipes,' which sparked my interest in recipe development. It was during this time that I discovered my love for creating SHAA recipes.

  • Fun Facts About Me

The most fascinating thing I learned from my nutrition degree was how certain vitamins and minerals compete with each other for absorption. It really shows how complex the body’s nutrient process is!

  • Fun Facts About Me

I truly value spending quality time at home or enjoying quiet moments in nature—it’s my way of recharging and finding peace
